Getting Started
Product Overview
Smart card is a smart tracker device that uses Google’s Find Hub service, paired with the Google Find Hub app on Android devices, to quickly and securely locate your personal items on Google Maps. All location information remains private, and even Google cannot access it.
01. Before You Start
- Smart card only supports the Google Find Hub app. Please make sure to download and install this app from the Play Store before use.
- The device is compatible only with Android devices running Android 9 or higher.
- Smart card does not support Huawei devices.
- Once smart card is paired with a device, it will be locked and cannot be paired with another device.
02. Button and Sound Instructions
- Power On: Press the button once (a beep will sound).
- Power Off: Press and hold the button for 3 seconds (two short beeps will sound).
03. Reset
- Open the "Google Find Hub" app, select your smart card, tap the Settings button, then tap "Remove from Find Hub" and confirm.
- After removing it, press the smart card button 5 times rapidly, and when you hear a long beep, the device will be reset.
Fast Pair Instruction
01. Add Smart Card
- Make sure your phone's Bluetooth and network are turned on.
- Press the button once to turn on smart card (a beep will sound).
- Bring smart card close to your Android device and wait for the pop-up to show smart card. (Remark: If no pop-up appears, please restart your phone and try again.)
- Tap "Connect", read and accept the prompts to complete the pairing.
- In the "Google Find Hub" app, select "smart card" to customize the device name and category.
02. Manual Set Up Instruction (If you miss the pop-up)
- Open Settings.
- Go to "Google".
- Click on "All Services".
- In the "Connected Devices & Sharing" menu, select "Devices".
- Enable "Scan for Nearby Devices".
- Smart card will appear in the list of available nearby devices.
- Click on it and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
03. Find Nearby
- In the "Google Find Hub" app, select your smart card and tap "Play Sound" to locate your device. Once found, tap Stop Sound to silence the device.
04. Find Far Away
- In the "Google Find Hub" app, select your smart card, tap the device to view its location. To navigate to the location, tap "Get Directions" to open map navigation.
05. Enable Lost Mode
- In the "Google Find Hub" app, select your smart card and tap "Mark as Lost". Add your contact information and you will get a notification if the Find Hub network locates it.
06. Smart Card Location Sharing
- In the "Google Find Hub" app, select your smart card, then tap "Share Device".
07. Charge
- Use regular wireless charging equipment to charge the product wirelessly. The red light is always on when charging, and the light is off when fully charged.
